But ya gotta admit it would look better if flanked by two... :P

What a fantastic idea ...  I can have one for gaming and the other for hanging

So my study will have the following on the wall:

1. Elmore lithos: D & D Ancient Red, D & D Air Attack, D & D Dragon Blade (are currently being framed)

2. Bottle City (to be framed once the lithos are back)

3. Tsojonth + Original copies of the Map

I'd guessed there was going to be a BIN on this one. Lasted all of about two minutes, that. (sorry)

Only reason for my early bids, in case anyone was wondering...

Cute, but also too hot for me.

I preferred his dragons, too, but my $255 snipe disappeared under Burnie Bros's.

Oh, and you told me weren't an Elmore fan, Mike. Publication overcomes that, does it? ;)

Heh...just a little bump to make sure you were serious and to save me the trouble of making a watch list...pretty sure it's irrelevant. ;)

Knight Online Lvl 70 HUMAN MAGE Ares | eBay

Holy krap!  No one would really pay that, would they?  I know nothing about online character peddling, but has anyone ever paid anything close to that for a similar type of auction to anyone's knowledge?  Man, I feel guilty when I go 20% over what I promised myself I would max out at for an auction.  I don't know that I could ever forgive myself for buying that one...not that I'd pay 1 red ¢ for it in the first place.  And is it just me, or do all the outright scammers choose Israel as their location?

All the time. That's $1k with RNM though, so not sure what this guy's expecting. The most I've personally payed, iirc, was $1200 for an account in Ultima Online. That was for resale though, and splitting up the stuff it had on it, I think I ended up making about $1500 profit. Not really possible to make that kind of money in MMOs anymore though, the market is too saturated and sweatshop-cafes in Asia have pretty much cornered the market by virtue of sheer volume.

I've never even heard of the game that the character is from, so it seems unlikely to me that he'll have any bites (that kind of cash typically requires a pretty large selling base to support, but I certainly could be wrong). Stranger things have happened.

Would you send $1000 to a zero rated seller in Israel? If so, I have a friend who has an ultra-rare B2 pre-pub with Gary's notes on it? He's never sold anything before on eBay and he lives in Borneo. Why not PayPal him the funds direct?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Imo, it's no more goofy than paying $1k+ for a book that will sit in a collection ;)

Being one who doesn't know anything about items sitting in a collection

I think the *goofiness* goes beyond the money.  What is the point in playing a game where all the challenges have been done for you?

I personally like the challenges that go with building a character.
