Aw, I just snapped at John for posting an item I was bidding on.  (He's done a great job helping me cover up the evidence).

I lost my cool for a second there, and feel really bad about that.

Okay, now my curiousity is REALLY peaked, but I'm not going to go snooping.  Guess I'll have to settle for reading about it in the fun finds thread.  Good luck!

BTW, Frank.  How do the Pats do it?  After Harrison went out, I was sure we had them.  Damn, this is getting tiresome...

I am not worried, we didnt show them anything at all yesterday and we still almost won. Take away the Randall-El brain freeze and the FG taken away by the 5 yard penalty, game is considerably different.

We should ask Scott to lock this thread for a month or so and see what happens.  The hardcore detectives among us would make a killing.

yeah, in fact we're working out a deal wherein clarkie acts as my surfing agent, and i pay him based on how far below the acaeum estimated values i'm able to BIN things off of ebay...

Heh, heh. I do find some good deals, particualrly on BINs, but there are others who are much better at finding certain items then myself. Other such as Harami2000 and the temporarily out of action due to his move grodog. If you dont believe me, start watching Allan's bids once he gets himself settled in at his new home. It is like an Interesting items on Ebay thread all by itself. David is a little more complicated, because sometimes he pins his interesting items with a small token bid and sometimes he doesnt. Either way, he quielty does pretty well for himself.

Well, I had little doubt that a few people may have been watching the auctions before they were posted here.  And I have no problem with being outbid (it happens far too often to get upset about that!).  I probably won't win those, anyway, but that's not my point.

Like many of us on here, I do spend a lot of time & energy looking for stuff, and to see everything posted up here for casual passers-by, especially when there's already active bidding...that does get to me, sometimes.

I wasn't very nice about it to John, though, and I apologize for that.
