Are you sure you're not shilling for him, Brian? $666.67 and $688.87 look mighty suspicious bids to me!

*g* sorry!

Hey, and you surely don't actually want a nice (stated) minty Tsoj, do you, Al? :D ;)

Should be fun to watch...

...

(And beats $1,799 BINs on R1-4, I'd say! :P)

No it is Philp H. Dawson ... really nice guy ....

D'you know whether he has a whole box of those, Mike? :o

Might be worth putting a bid in for a (genuine) "second chance offer", if so... ^^

The response to the first buyer inquiry... This is the only one for sale just now, sounds like he may well have more. They'd go nicely with my box of ST1s

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Better get it straight that wasn't quite what I was meaning; in case Frank actually reads this! ;)

Yup, has been in the top 6-8 items on my "wish list" for some time, too.

...

Thanks for that check, Ian. I asked whether he might like to post a reply over here. Will see...

IMHO, if he has 10-20 copies, I'm sure there are a fair number of us who'd still happily sign on the dotted line for a fixed $750-800+ a time without this eBay hassle.

On the other hand, if that is the only mint copy he's got, I'm fairly certain the end price will be higher if that's stated clearly. :)

Well, if the two of you launch up to $650+ before even having a chance to check... :)

Reminds me of <aneoth> and his $1,000 pre-emptive strike on Peter's "1st print" woodgrain. (Erm, on the other hand...).

Hehe, nope no shilling at all. I am just searching around to trying to find Al's high bid *<checks Al's previous bidding history>*. It always helps if you are planning a snipe where the high bidder is.

I concur on that fully. I actually mentioned to deimos via PM earlier today, that I have a sneaking suspicion that he has sold at least one before as Mike<Improv> has bought from him before at the end of last year. We all know Mike isn't really into to collecting commons. I am sure he could confirm my suspicions.

Hey, Mike <improv> needs a good looking copy to go with that map on his wall.

But ya gotta admit it would look better if flanked by two... :P
