The same seller who had the RPGA3 up, now has 3 tournament modules from GenCon19 in 1986:

Pretty good deal, but I have to laugh everytime someone mentions that TSR marketing line: "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Second Edition was published to streamline the original rules". :roll:

Emailed the seller asking about the endpapers and the printing. Here's the reply "There is no printing number or isbn for this book. Inside pages are yellow (orangish yellow). Here is a high res pic of the copyright page. Exact text of the spine: Advanced dungeons & Dragons Players Handbook By Gary Gygax - Pic of Merlin then TSR Games POB 756 Lake Geneva. Thanks, good luck."

Looks like it's a first printing.

Gutboy Barrelhouse is the name of an NPC dwarven fighter level 6, in the 1e DMG, page 71

Be very careful with this PHB. Seller says

Hi,

The players handbook is harback. On the inside page it says, 6th printing, January 1980. It's in pretty good condition. I didn't realise it was this old.

Yes...and the book in the photo also appears to be the correct color for a first printing.
