all retracted...ebay lists person as no longer active member...WFT...

Not sure what to think...anybody got a better clue.

"Cougarinnards" used to be a Half.Com account that recently decided to do eBay.  Apparently, after years of slumber, eBay woke up and decided that he did not really live at his listed address --- 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C.  His phone number may also have been something appropriately inaccurate.

He will be back if eBay will tell him what he needs to change.  If not, other incarnations have existed and will continue to exist, much like the clap.   :D

That would explain that picture a while back of Bush playing D&D...  :?

I already e-mailed him about the shipping. I won't bid on it just on general principle. The guy is an asswipe, judging by his reply.

Hmm... 5 feedback, 85.7% positive, description cut and pasted straight from The Acaeum and picture ripped directly from The Acaeum (the thumbnail no less, 'cause he couldn't bother to click on it for the larger pic).

Nope, nothing suspicious going on there!

Ok. Not thrilled with seller or how he set up his auction. But does he really need to charge that much for shipping. It is not like the thing will sell cheap and he needs the shipping overage to make up for a low bid.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Yeah, you would think the seller would at least use the larger pic in the description instead of that itty-bitty one.

I dont think Ebay requires prospective sellers to pass an intelligence competency test before listing their items.  If that was the case, creep and cougar would never have been able to list anything.

Has anyone bidding on the item sent an email to the seller asking for more pictures?  A bit surprising if no one has yet.

Nice to see people complaining for 15 dollars shipping. For me it's the average S&H cost.

Is there any chance of watermarking the Acaeum's pictures?

Seriously, maybe they could be made into animated GIFs that change to "Image Is Property of the Acaeum" for a few seconds before returning to the normal picture of the item.  That would be annoying if someone is closely examining the image when it changes, but it may discourage the less technically-savvy from stealing the image.

Well, seeing as he provides NO description about the condition, or anything else which wasn't stolen firectly from the Acaeum, I think it's nuts to bid on. Too fishy.
