2nd print BH (1977?) in apparently nice condition plus a second print Starfaring (1976).
$50-60 would be a pretty good price and ditch whatever's not of interest in the rest. Nice spot, <lokiwookie>.

And I thought I was the only one on the planet who had a copy of Starfaring. Mine is significantly better shape, though.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

No, it's not. First has worse art, and only the setting sun is colored in. They switched to the closeup of the action for the 2nd printing (ie the one in this lot).

edit: Duh, Faro beat me to it. 1st print 1975, 2nd print August 1977.

Pretty Rough condition and printing is unconfirmed, but hell who's complaining, its still a Woody.

Now, see, this is the kind of thing that interests me.  This is not some whimp's shelf copy or some poor sap's closet detritus.  This is a set of books that has been gamed.  Who can tell the number of harrowing underworld encounters these books must have provided?  If this were Shadowrun I would be speculating about the spirits attached to this particular piece of game history.   Yeah.  I can almost hear the echoes from here.

As a general rule, I avoid UK sellers that use the term "VGC". ;)

Doesn't appear that heavily gamed, given the condition of the front cover if all three books are bound together (would love to know how that works minus all back covers!).

If ya want to see a well-used first print, check back at that one Stephen just re-sold (at a loss) or those I have here that roughed it through Blackmoor... :)

Would be good to know the history of any such item, though, I must admit.

*rofl*. Actually I wasn't even going to click the link, since I thought it was you-know-who; but seems OK in this case.

Hey, at least you can't accuse me of not providing a high-res, large-format pic in the auction description, whether it cost me in the end or not.  It took that baby about 2 minutes to load with a dial-up connection.  Truth in advertising...

Ah, yes. That rule originally appeared on that third tablet that Moses dropped.

Gee... why does no-one listen to me when I say ST1 isn't "worth" $2,500, then? ;)

"Good price", tfm. I wanted them both, but my regular proxy bidders also had an interest in those (smart peeps) ^^

Oh, but it is, a nice one anyway.  Isn't consumerism wonderful?  It will kill everyone in the end because no one has any interest in curing anything, only treating the symptoms.
