I didn't want to post this one until after it was over, for fear that anyone here might be bidding on it:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

And here's a copy still in shrinkwrap:

eBay

Looks like juliabulia got some real bargains. :) I would think that these would have gone for at least double the final price in both cases.

But I asked him for shipping to Europe and he didn't reply snif    on ebay shipping calculator it seems to be $30  8O

On another thread it seems to be some problems with an expensive auction of this seller isn't it?

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out where I heard the name bombadil before, then I remembered:

You shaved!

Great find, though.

I won both H2 and H3 a few days ago for only a few dollars more... I was happy with the find.

Wow, maybe the market for the H-series has taken a downward turn.

H2-4 have gone for lower prices in the past: H1 has always been the pick of the series.
Seems to depend to a degree on how much a certain feline in pushing for H1 as to whether the others follow.

But, yes, some fairly decent prices there for apparently high quality items; especially for SW fans ^^

I bought H1 in France (on a wargamer's forum) for only 2€ ($2.50), mint unpunched...
Ebay is very (too) variable to be a good estimator of a book value... it is just my mind :) Sometimes H3 is sold for $45 and other times for only $15...

*feels sorry for the clueless seller*

You planning on holding on to that one, though? :)

R1 and R2 in this lot.

For me it's not yet the time to venture on the R series. Have fun.

You'll love it.

Thanks, Frank.

I'm promptly elevating this to crown-jewel status in my collection!
