Each module was only pushed up around $10 still well below the Acaeum etsimates and still well below the original price the seller bought them at ($921).

$10? I make that RPGA2 higher by $42.50; RPGA3 $27.50; RPGA4; $23.50. (And $84.50 for RPGA1, but that's a "special case" and, IMO, not the best way for Brian to attempt to win at a "sensible" price).

Thus far; yeah, but with days to go...

<creep1962> (or a.n. other reseller) will almost certainly be back and I presume the same will happen again. The usual last-minute snipe flurry would've resolved this much more easily since I haven't seen them sniping. Hopefully still will do so, but from a higher level.

It's not possible that the original price paid might've been too high, btw? :P

improvstone wrote:Apart from the fact that if by some small miracle I did win them I would happily put them back on eBay and allow them to sell without the influences of sellers such cougar and creap.

Didn't hear that last time; just your ditto to the "for the sake of jacking up" <creep>'s bids. ;)

improvstone wrote:Yes, I am sure everyone would like to see them being sold on eBay next week for $2K. Totally untouchable by any collector in the group.

Well, there are people with $2k free here, but I doubt they'd pay.

The RPGA1 bid was not to jack up the price, my 2 proxy bids are(were) to win and both were in place before he came in against me with his $188.00 bid jacking my bid up to $190.50.

eBay.com Item Bid History

That is actually why I reacted the way I did, and I didnt just do it to the RPGA mods I did it to several other auctions as well.  I must admit that I made a mistake on the RPGA2 with my bid by not taking my own advice and realize this idiot has no bidding patterns what-so-ever and took for granted the fact that becuase he came in high at $188.00   My RPGA4 bid, was also placed before creep1962 came along and was a meager $65.66 JIC bid. I did however bid on RPGA3 after creep1962 bid, but I only came in at $115.00 at a time his bid was sitting at $103.50, which took the lead for all of about 5 minutes, for which creep1962 outbid me again.  As Mike stated Creep1962 does snipe peiodicly, and I would not be the least bit surprised if he is not done with any of these 4 auctions at the end.  My intention is either to make sure creep1962 does not win these mods or to make him pay so much for them that he will never be able to sell them at one of his ridiculous BIN prices because it would be far to high.  I can tell you that if I win RPGA1 it is going nowhere, but I would happily sell RPGA2 to someone here even if it is at a loss. If no one here would be interested, I would just pop it right back out on EBay, where needless to say Coug & Creep are already currently both on my blocked list, so they would be participating in the bidding.   I do agree that it may not be the best way to handle things, but my intentions are noble regardless.

Why would you bid that high without first confirming it was actually a first print, rather than confiming it is really first prinitng and then bidding. :?

No kidding, I just picked one up for $10.  It's near-mint.

No idea who that might be bidding, then asking, but for a while there I thought it was going to go to this bidder, who, based on their feedback, could very well have been that person:

Probably for the same reason that you'd be willing to pay $280 for it. I'll let folks decide that particular reason for themselves ;)

D&D Gazetteer: Dungeons & Dragons | eBay

If folks are going to bid, I'd email the guy and get a clarification on the condition. An auction where "AS-IS" is repeated is a major red-flag.

Actually the seller seems to have a group of mixed lots that could have some interest:

Wrong banner at the top, though?

Interesting sale for the UK...
