Well, checking through her feedback I was able to count 3 other and including the 5 that she has sold today would make 8, but I am positve either Mishra aka Marlith here or addermcone won her first auction and I am not seeing any feedback from either one of them. That could either mean that they havent received it yet, haven't left feedback yet, so maybe the deal fell through. :?

Well, so much for my theory, that same damn seller has up 2 more.  I guess she lied to me abouth that too.

Plus three or four more, since.

(I bid ~$19.50 in the original auction, IIRC).

Box is rough, but seller claims pieces are 100% there and in excellent condition. MIght be worth a query to ascertain if 100% actually equals 100%.

Lizard logo, too.  There's also another up that I'm watching.  Wizard logo and shrink wrapped.....

That's pretty bad condition for a 'new in shrink' book. Looks like its either been thrown about the shop a bit, or maybe a shrinked used book.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

About RPGA and R serie...

http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... L:RTQ:FR:1

Here is the discussion I had with the seller. I hesitate to post it here, but...

Question (5/12)

Hi, as this bid can get high, I would know if you would accept this sort of arrangement : I pay half of the price, you ship half of the module (or less), then I pay the second half, and you ship the other part of the modules. Of course I will assume the entire shipping fees. To be honest, it is a big amount of money and I would be sure to secure this transaction. Please pardon me if you feel wounded and feel absolutely free to refuse.

Best regards!

Answer

Hi. This is an interesting idea. I'm certainly prepared to consider it.

How much time would there be between the two payments?

Question (6/12)

Sorry, I ask you again if this arrangement will be OK for you -2 payments-

I pay the first part, you ship me some modules,

As soon as I will receive the first part of the modules, I will pay the second part. Thank you for not being angry about my proposition.

Please tell me if it will be OK for you or not

Answer (today)

I've been thinking about this idea. The only way I could agree to

2 payments would be if you agreed to my delaying shipping until

after I've received the final payment. In other words, I don't send

you anything until I've got all the money - with a maximum of

30 days between the first and last payment.

Sorry if this seems harsh - but I appear to have buyers who are

willing to pay in one go.

Best wishes

Please tell me if you think it would be better to not post that. Honestly, I dont want to cause any problem.

No probs.

If you're bidding serious money, I take it you noticed the fairly heavy staple rust imprints visible on the inside covers of the RPGA series, from the scans they provided? Is quite obvious on the booklets, too (especially RPGA4).

I hate it when a seller says "All unused, in pristine condition"!

(And to confirm)

Q:         Just one more question, I think. When you're mentioning pristine condition, does that just refer to the paper (no creases/bends/etc.) rather than the staples? There appears to be quite a lot of staple rust on the non-SWd RPGAs (e.g. RPGA4) which has left imprints on the insides of the card covers. Are the staples also rusted on the shrinkwrapped modules? Some grading structures, e.g. Page Not Found are rather harsh on that- perhaps overly so- but would certainly be good to know :) Thank you, once again.

A:         You're absolutely right, the staples on the 3 RPGA modules have left slight rust marks on the inside of the covers, (but not inside the booklets). Interestingly, this has not happened to R-4 which dates from the same period and was stored in the same way. As for the shrink-wrapped ones, it is to be hoped that the wrapping has prevented this from happening - but it's impossible to be sure without removing the wrapping. As for the rest... wysiwyg... Do bear in mind that these were not exactly state-of-the-art print jobs when they were produced! Where I said _pristine_, I should, perhaps, have said _in as good a quality as originally supplied by TSR_!!

Can't complain about that response time! :D
