I bought Snider's personal copy a few months ago, and he sent it with an essay on the item (including some reflections on working with Arneson). In the essay, he mentions that signing session, and a minor detail in his signature that only his fans would notice. Can anyone here spot it?

First name is in cursive, last name is not??

Watch out for that. There is a seller running auctions with a very low BIN...under $1 for newer items if memory does not fail (it does all to frequently any more). Its all fine and good until you see that their shipping is $29.99 or $39.99 per item and it is nmo refundable and coan not be combines blah, blah, blah etc. If I can find them I will be sure and post their ID.

As a quick note:  while this is certainly an outstanding auction in any case, we're pretty certain that R4 did *not* come shrinkwrapped originally.  Ergo, there may be reshrinking going on, either by the seller or a previous owner.

I knew that was coming. I might as well add that RPGA1, & R's 1,3,4 are all shrinkwrapped. That all being said, I am sure I will be outbid shortly.



What shitty time to be really low on cash flow. :x



BTW, anyone have an extra RPGA1 laying around that they want to sell?

If it had been buried and I saw you and I were the only two that had apparently spotted it I would not, provided I caught who the other bidder was in my eagerness, have posted it. They had pictues of them on the listing search though....even a casual scanning of the listings would have caught it. Hence why I did not see a problem posting.

No probs, I knew there was no way it was slipping through, it might as well as had a Neon sign attached to it.   FWIW, The seller answered a question in the auction which now indicatedes the R1-3 are shrinked and NOT R4.  He does not directly address that specific question, but the person who queried him asked him if the was any warping or corner damage due to the shrink and he answered for mods R1-3 & stated R4 was just fine and unshrinked.  Interesting.
