Different Worlds is ecstatic, humbled, and very very proud of Ryan Smalley's Valus setting today, with his two nominations for Best Campaign Setting and Best Writing!

If you're so inclined, please consider voting for Valus: http://www.enworld.org/ennies/index.php?do=vote

Well, even though I have never read the book I voted for it anyway.

Thanks Brian :D

If anyone's else cares to take a leap of faith (or to buy the book and check it out before voting), we could use all of the support we can get!

Well, I voted for ya. I think you had to take second place to someone for one of the categories though, there's some stuff there I actually know something about and liked :P

Interesting to see the "little guys" are up against the likes of Paizo in some of those categories.

No worries there, thanks for supporting us GraysonAC :D  I think it's likely that we only have a chance to win Best Writing (although we're competing against WW there), and expect Black Company to win Best Campaign Setting....

While on some level, I already consider our nominations victories (since we already beat out Monte Cook's Beyond Countless Doorways for Best Writing, and Hero Games' Valdorian Age for Best Campaign Setting), I'd really like us to win one of the categories :D :D
