How about this one:

Name the two "monsters" from either the MM, MMII or FF whose name is an actual word written backwards.

(Just in case that is unclear, let me give an example: "Nogard" is Dragon written backwards).

Also, there may be other "accidental" backwards names (like "dog" & "god") - the ones I am refering to were specifically designed with the "reversed" name in mind.

You nailed it, Ralf. Or at least those were the two I was thinking of ...

I've got both figures; they're actually sort of cool.

Nilbog is definitely one of them . . . the other one never occured to me in all the years I played D&D - only recently when I was flipping through some manuals did a little light bulb go off in my head . . .  though some of you probably realized it far quicker than I . . .

I don't recognise the name, but a Darnoc is in the D20 Tome of Horrors

I guess a Nomaed doesn't count

And a backwards dog never did made a good deity
even if it didn't have a single Fle
Lee was the name of the Eel
Backwards gnolls are not permitted, even in welsh
gar, bat, ram and rat are far too easy

Been through the whole lot - Aerial Servant to Zombie (Monster)

Give up!

I think it's a unique creature. Maybe one of our newest registered users?

*bump*

Alright I was trudging around tonight and I found this thread so i figured I'd give it a raise it form the dead.     I forgot this thing even existed, but I figured its worth a bump.  So who wants to ask a question?

Start with an easy one (Hope I'm not misremembering this, otherwise it might prove very difficult indeed!)(As well as terribly embarrasing  )

Which AD&D adventure had a (demonic?) NPC by the name of Killjoy (presumably in reference to our very own Al!)?
