Cool! I was not aware that if you had somebody on your eBay blocked bidders list and they changed their name, that it automatically updates on your list.

Makes sense though...  :)

Heads up everyone!

The one once known as sir_lance_u_alot_sales--

and later, to_the_victor_goes_the_spoils

has a new ID as of 1/14/08:

capecodregular

Given what has been said about this person on this thread, thought a heads-up may have been warranted . . .  :!:

I'm not sure that this matters since the user is no longer a registered user on Ebay so they can't buy or sell there.

It's interesting news, either way. This ... person ... is honestly, truly, no-kidding-around crazy (remember those disturbing emails to Brian?), so it's reassuring to know that she is gone.

Of course, with the wide-open frontier of the interwebs, she has doubtless already signed up again with a different credit card (or whatever it takes ... I haven't actually signed up for eBay lately.  :))

She's really not though, they have just cancelled a few of thier IDs, but there is most certainly a few still out there.  She is now buying and selling on Ebay regularly under the Hang_the_Hobbits!!!! ID:

http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 1%21%21%21

In case someone doesn't believe me, check the source code of their hang_the_ hobbits!!!! graphic.  It reflects a photoshop source user of 403 Forbiddenlance_sir_lance/Ebay/AboutMeBling.gif

Just a quick heads up for sellers.   You may want to consider blocking the following buyer - ligerman01 .    The book I shipped him was definitely in near mint when I shipped it.    He is coming back and stating that this arrived in fair condition at best.   Hmmmm.    This was just one of those books I looked at before I shipped, you know, thumbed through it just to see what was in it.   I know it was in near mint.   He left neg feedback and then stated that he would be happy to work this out.    Feels a tad bit like extortion.

Also, he is feedback is 0, but is percentage rating is 66.7 with one mutally withdrawn feedback.   Appears that he had a run in with the seller, Intelligator.   Might be someone from the Cougar school of buying.

Just a fair warning.

This douche has left 4 feedbacks in last 8 days 3 of which have been negs.

eBay Feedback Profile for ligerman01

I am so glad that Ebay has decided to go ahead and prevent sellers from leaving negative feedback for buyers.     Blocked.

Blocked. Nasty email sent through eBay system.

So, for those who have posted here saying they have no problem with these new eBay rules ... please tell me again why it's such a good thing for eBay to openly sanction this sort of extortion.

I'll be waiting ...

I just mailed out to this guy a new and un-used near perfect copy of the Silver Anniversary Holmes rulebook.  Packaged securely.  I'll let you know if I get any grief from the guy.
