Quiltmom929?

Like a damn Visa card...Everywhere I wanna be.

Now, if they're a collector, I don't begrudge them.

But, (and this is key) if they are buying up product just because it's semi-rare and hoping to make a bunch of money, that kinda torques me the wrong way, Ya Know?

O.K.  Done ranting. We now return you to your local thread.

Dave, get the barbarian in the corner a drink, quick!

Just reviving an old post.  Have any of you seen what quiltmom929 has been doing to the Dragon and Dungeon magazine market?  She is bidding a lot on just about everything and winning quite a few of them.  I've got a friend that is looking to buy some of the older mags and he is very frustrated since quiltmom929 seems to have no issue spending whatever it takes to win just about every copy that comes up.  Okay, maybe not every single copy but a lot of them.  This has been going on for months!

Must be trying to corner the market...

I imagine Quiltmom929 as a mother trying to purchase things to put on display for her tragic son...who must live in a bubble.

She is desperately spending in order to give him his final, collecting wishes before he dies.....

Makes her less hateable, doesn't it?

* Wraps exploding Dragon Magazine.... carefully. *

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Yep... I decided to delve into the Dragon arena after I picked up #50-250 for $75 last year.

Then this Quilt-lady appears and I am stuck. Aside from watching for the odd lot with Dragon throw-ins, the price for those early issues is a abnormally high.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Or #1-300 in paper form for $300; binding thrown in free. ;)
