Not caring to run with the big boys, I'm just trying to find a decent copy of the B7 version cheap.  Equally difficult, but I can hardly complain when I see the prices for the real thing.   8O

I'm sorry for running up the price on some of these items.  I just don't think the copy of Rahasia I bought is worth $188.  It's not hugely overvalue but if you want something, with the popularity of collecting, your going to have to pay a premium for it.  I just do not like setting the bar this high.

Hey man, nothing to be sorry about its your money. I personally prefer to go the route of waitning for the right time, as with patience you will be able to get just about anything at the right price, but if you wanted it, then who are we to criticize.

yeah i wanted that. my limit was $170. would have gone higher, but didnt feel the condition was good enough for me to justify my bid going higher than that. another will come along yet, so i will just bide my time.

good win tho!  :D

Hell if cougar can get over $150 Bloodstone pass  I think a decent copy of Rahasia for $188 is fine

I need an H1, but you will not see me bidding on one from that guy.

I have to admitt that I figured that the high end bid would be around $180 for Rahasia so I made my max bid of $190.  I'm feeling pretty good about being able to figure the top price for these items.

I'd like to hear how this looks in person.  The seller seems like a real nice guy or gal, didn't know much about D&D, I spoke to them in email before they posted it guiding them to this site and all.

Cover has 7 minor spine creases.  Minor spine wear.  Corners are slightly rounded.  One corner with a 1/4" fold.

Booklet had several light pencil marks.  I was able to erase them with no damage to the booklet.  Staples have no rust whatsoever.

Being extremely harsh in rating I would give this copy a "Very Good+" and would have no problems saying it is in "Fine" condition.

Not bad! 8)

Think I'll be giving the Rs & RPGAs a miss the way prices are nowadays, though. :(
(Best deal I've seen in the last year was from a seller in Japan I'd decided I wasn't doing business with and since then the prices have been generally forging ahead).

Considering they were ditched on the UK general public cheap, that was a difficult one to get my head around until too late...

=

Footnoting that, my $800 copy arrived today.

Very comfortably a NM copy with just the tiniest rub at the bottom right. (Superb packing btw, Jim. :D)
(Well worth "sacrificing" a cheap, large format hardback for, even though I'd not normally suggest such a technique!).

Unfortunately this auction seems to have dented the new estimated values, since the only other two graded copies were both above the $810 they're now "rated" at for VF...
No complaints, though! ;)

harami2000,

I saw that auction about 5 minutes before you must have.  I just did not have the $800 to spend or that one would have been mine.  Beautiful copy from what i could tell from the auction picks.

*nods*. Know exactly what you mean.
Am sure the same goes for your RPGA1, too, for others; with regards budgets. :(

If I hadn't mentally committed to a similar-priced purchase which fell through when the seller changed their mind (or rather, was told to change their mind) a few days before, I would certainly have thought twice, too.
(Probably more than twice, if I'd still been hunting for woodies, Chainmail, PotVQ, etc.  None of which had cost that much...).

Happy hunting, whatever your budget, y'all! ;)

(Just don't go picking up an oC1 or oC2 for $10 BIN and expect me to smile and say "congratulations" without biting my lip! :D)

*g*. Never made it on to the "official" list ( Page Not Found ), so obviously must be a figment of your imagination, Frank! :o

heh, heh... at least it wasn't a "1st print" and you sold it on without being aware of that.
