I recall a few years (2000-1) back trying to pick up these two boxes, and they were going for like 60-80 dollars each every time. Lately I have been watching on eBay, and they don't seem to go for as much. Anyone know why?

Anyone else been watching and seen about the cheapest they have gone?

i've had both boxes a few times....personally, i felt the material was a little "samey" and really didnt do it for me, so i keep selling them again :)

they crop up very often...but still see the Kara-Tur one sell reasonably well the odd time here n there, tho for not as much as you quoted above.

they are not even rare or even slightly rare imo :)

I just noticed the same thing because I'm getting ready to list about 30 items and a Kara-Tur is among them in pretty much near mint, unused condition. Those sets have always sold for $35+ but now seem to have fallen pretty hard. I think I just saw one go fore less than $20.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Though it's been some time I've seen a "From The Ashes" box on ebay. You were able to get them much more often about 1/2 to 3/4 a year ago.

I ended in a bidding war over a From the Ashes and bailed out when it was at 65$ or so... and I swear I entered it by mistake!!! (I typed 6,5 and the system obviously deleted the comma, making it 65!!!)

I felt extremely lucky to get this one for less than $40.  I was worried about the condition as the seller didnt describe it very well but it is in almost near mint condition.  I have been trying to get one for about a year but they always seem to go for $50 or more and most of them are in less than desireable shape.
