I think in Italian it sounds "Chiesa Nuova". You must come and see it.
Believe me. The whole Italy it's quite beautiful, but tuscany is ... special.

Hello Radagast and welcome in. Nice to have some other Italian voice here as well
And don't forget Piedmont either - I agree that Tuscany is special, but Piedmont is a real surprise...

Hi Rosenkav.
I agree with you. Consider that I work in Siena but y home is Reggio Emilia ... How can I dislike the Pianura Padana??
thank you very much

about Italy and D&D, I would tell you what's happened me yesterday.
My mother phoned me that the Central Post Office, in Rome, has some questions to ask me about "these packages that come from USA ... These STRANGE packages!!!".
In this last period I've bought some items on ebay (always D&D items) so I'd frightened Italian authority: maybe I'm a terrorist importing bombs, TNT, or something else ...
I have two questions:
- haven't Italian Post Authorities got something better to do?
- if someone phones me to ask if I am a terrorist, what I have to say?
I don't know! My mother told them that I'm only buying toys, RPG (and they understood!!! that's incredible!!!)
But I'm doubtful ...
Am I a danger for the society???
thank you for your attention.
Have a good day.

I haven't completely understood how the posts work in this field.

I know that to dodge attention the best thing is to let your sellers clearly label the box - and the declaration of the contents coming with it - "used books".

Sometimes - working side-by-side with the customs office - they don't know how much the value is: when this happens, they send you a letter and ask you how much is the value of the package (and you can't reply "zero"!).

When this happens, in a week or two they clear the procedure and you get your package by freight courier (SDA), shelling out the amount you owe to the italian customs to them.

Hello to the Italian Forum!

Ouch ! 8O
A bit high for sure!

I just can say that an Immortal box here in France was sold at about 100 Euros but it was because there was a real dogfight between 2 newbies. I posted a link a few weeks ago.
http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... RK:MEDW:IT

I think each box can be find at about 10 or 15 USD, and about 35 perhaps for the Immortal : it seems that price get higher even in USA. But I am not a specialist.

About the french edition of the box (basic / expert / companion) I noticed that the average price is around 30 Euros.

Have a nice day too!

Hello Giorgio. Seems that this seller have sniffed something about the rarity of the items... so, if you want them, you are prepared to pay through the nose

IMHO this is really too much - but we collectors are a crazy bunch.

Happy hunting for that immortal box, tho...

Franz

Hi Franz,
I agree with you ... to much to sniff.
BTW, I own some Immortal Set ... To tell the truth, I've got two used sets and I'm waiting for a Shrinkwrapped one ...
We collectors are really crazy. At least I'm crazy.
I've got every set in italian (B E C and M) and in english, both used and sealed ... (no comment, for pity)
I'm only looking for an italian basic one and an english expert (shrinkwrapped) ... I know it's difficult, but hope can never die!
and it's funny.
Have a nice day
Giorgio

Italy is clearly a hot spot for RPGs. Good also to hear from the player in France.

What about Spain or Latin America?

¿Aqui <Acaeum> hay jugadores desde España o paises en America Latina de juegos de rol?
