brenscollectables is selling Diamond Dice.  I highly doubt that they came from back-in-the-day because
  • The dice have no wear

  • The dice numbers are not crayon-ed or inked

  • Melendy Trains (Diamond Dice) still sells these in bags of 100, and the colors in this lot are identical to the colors in a Melendy Trains bag

. . .
** expired/removed eBay auction **

[FYI, the man behind Melendy Trains is great seller.  He went out of its way to find some other dice for me and tumbled some of his Diamond Dice to make them into the Frosted dice advertised in the Dragon magazine.]

Do you know if there's a site that has catalogued various dice over the years? I didn't realize that some dice were so collectible (except for maybe the thread some time back that I saw on the bagged Zocchi ones)

DiceCollector.com ( DiceCollector.com - Home of the Worlds Largest Dice Collection - THE place for Dice Info & Questions ) is the best reference.  It has numerous photos.  It even has a section for figuring out who made your mystery dice.

I personally won't be bidding on anything from Rural Retreat but am curious what the value of the Arduin Trilogy box set would be with the box included?

Just in case you've neglected to do so as I had, block brenscollectables from bidding on your auctions. Presumably based on my comments here, s/he has decided to BiN one of my items and then not pay or respond to my invoice or followup message. Not a big deal, but a slight nuisance. Not sure why I didn't have the ID blocked, just overlooked it..

In case s/he really wants to buy something from you just to leave bad feedback i think you have no way to forbid her/him to do it with a new account : if s/he wants to neg all of us, it will be very simple for him/her to attain this goal.
 i had to disable bids from all US members for a while to avoid his/her bids and -FBs. Hopefully for me, i have nothing very interesting for sale for US bidders hehehe ;)

I've found enough circumstantial evidence to conclude that our new user "Unicorn" here is, in fact, another James Corvin identity.  If "she" has contacted anyone here regarding a trade or purchase, you may want to think twice.  Or three times.

Thought it smelled fishy, but assumed it was just your standard run of the mill unicorn ass.

I thought it strange that someone would sign their name UNI, as opposed to a real person's name...

With such a narrow scope, he'll run out of targets soon.

Just in case:

This seller in Chilhowie, VA is just down the road from Rural Retreat, which is just down the road from Wytheville VA:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Seller's new i.d. is "bonnie197911"

As with brenscollectables and mystic-fairy, the double exclamation point and the use of UPPER CASE is present in the listings.

Best,

Paul

Anyone who has had an issue with this seller, please contact me. I'm having him investigated for fraud, so any relevant info would be helpful.
