Yay!

I don't win at eBay often, but today I got a steal.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

I know, I know...D&D plastic minis, but these are Giant sized figs, cool looking, and normally ebay INDIVIDUALLY for $15-20.  I got two for $9.99.

Yay me!

Back to our regularly scheduled OD&D and 1E collecting... :)

Just be grateful da coug's paws don't stretch that far, yet, or that you haven't rubbed his fur the wrong way. ;)

Heh, I'd never even bid on his auctions, I've been warned here. :)

I only posted the MM; was leaving anyone interested to check the seller's other auctions.
(The MM is certainly a better looking copy, though ;))

So have you fixed up that other PHB and gonna flog it now, Alan?
Would probably be £30+ for the next step up condition-wise, unless one slipped under the radar.
(Hey, that's about the same price as a non-mint WD#33, or whatever, no? :?).

You need a bigger house...

Heh. I'm no expert on that.

For the PHB with the split at the top of the spine, a small amount of rubber glue should work, though. Would certainly be easy to improve the appearance, anyhow, and not hurt too badly if listed as a repair (certainly less than that the photo showing the split did to the seller, last time-- was a very nice copy other than that, IIRC).

(A less scrupulous seller might color-fill any white tear line still visible (it's a dark cover) and just leave the condition description in vague terms. :?
Have been on the receiving end of those before...).
