Hello,

Would you let the writing/ink in the top right bother you?

I am undecided and could use some opinions.

Thanks.

I've never cared too much about condition as long as it doesn't look like a chew toy; in fact, I've picked up hundreds of items that would have cost me 10x more than I paid merely because they weren't minty. However, I was always more concerned with seeing the content that the intrinsic value.

It wouldnt bother me at all for a collection. All the magazines are great reads. Not that I have ready many. Depending on price, it may be the best way to go.

I have an aversion to anything that detracts from the original product, so this bothers me.

That being said, if it's something I need in my collection, and the price is right, I'd purchase it, just to have one.  I'd then keep my eye out for one in better condition.

BTW, those look like really nice copies.  Not sure if you could find them in much better condition.

If the price is right, they will sell but the writing will effect the value fairly significantly.

Were they NM condition I would agree.
I am not convinced their value would be affected much by the ink, given their present condition.

I am with Mars on that one. The higher the condition, the higher the impact on the price. "Investors / Merchants" drive prices of items in great conditions, not "pure-play" gamers so much, and those same investors care a lot more about condition.
