Does most of your DnD internet communication happen here, or on Facebook, Discord etc?

I dont have facebook account, rarely launch discord and dont speak to anyone personally who collects anything I collect.

I am just asking. :) I am not lonely, but I guess it is a lonely question.

As the internet decays into becoming even more obnoxious & dysfunctional, this site takes an increasingly larger ratio of my time. It's not that I'm spending more time here, but less elsewhere.

Facebook has a few groups that you might want to consider joining.  You don't have to create an elaborate account to join Facebook either.

Just be aware that you might have a higher chance of encountering trolls on Facebook, but if you stick to specific groups, most extraneous controversy can be avoided.

In no order of preference:

I'm sure there are some that I've missed.

There are also groups that are devoted to auctions, sales, and trades.  Here are a couple:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/RPGsalestrades

If you are looking for groups that are more general D&D or convention specific:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1eADNDUNCENSORED

https://www.facebook.com/groups/310434204630

https://www.facebook.com/groups/garycon

This is in no way a comprehensive list.  Perhaps others will share their recommendations.

I lasted about 10 days on Facebook 15 years ago. An ex girl friend from high school reached out. Her life was a wreck. I was getting other random friend requests from folks I never liked, and I didnt to know they knew I existed. I canceled my account. I wont go back. :)

You can create an account that no one will be able track you down with. :)

Except Facebook. And the governments. And any site you allow cookies from. And any site where you contribute to "customer experience".
In other words, anyone.
