Inflation may just be starting. I think 5e books are the last thing that got a price increase.

Please take this with a salt-lick sized grain of salt. I'm not a fan of the art style(s) presented with a fair amount of the 5e books. Truth be told, I haven't paid enough attention, but the Bigby's book in the article is just blah. If you want me to pony up $60 bucks, smack me in the face with some excitement, not something that could be viewed as a cure for insomnia. Ugh.

Ive not been thrilled by the content in those books. I get way more enjoyment and use with third-party 5E products. More heart and soul in them, better content, and they are cheaper, especially now with this price increase.
