I'm interested in the original stuff.  Not necessarily to collect, but to own.

I don't care about printing, or collectability.  Heck, it can even be missing

the box.  I'm just looking for worn, loved copies of:

Original D&D Set (white box OCE)

Greyhawk: Supplement I

Blackmoor: Supplement II

Eldritch Wizardry: Supplement III

Gods, Demi-Gods, & Heroes: Supp IV

Swords & Spells: Supplement

They'll go to a good home.  I take good care of my books, and treat them

like the wonderful things they are.  This would be a "working copy" to

play with, but preferably not a "coloring book" version ;).  I am looking

for this on the cheap, and eBay prices setting to be thruogh the roof

for this poor gamer's wallet :(.

So, anyone sitting on some spare copies, and willing to sell and a fair (or cheap ;) ) price just PM me here.

Thanks.

Dun you love "me too" requests within a minute of the original?

Can certainly empahise with that in the current marketplace... anything much better than ~$90 even without the box would be half decent, and that probably by picking up the books piecemeal.

I thought I'd score on 6 of the books on a recent bid, as they were no box, like 7th and 11th prints and used.  Still, it hit $60usd. :(  I know I'm being cheap, but that's because I'm BROKE.

I have recently won a fourth print of OD&D with box and all.

That leaves out my three OD&D fifth print booklets without box I won some six months ago. They are very good copies (photos available upon request), with only a slight sign of rust on the staples on the outside.

I could put them on e-bay on auction, and I know they'd fetch a good amount, judging from what is happening now - but I can't resist the call of TWO fellow Acaean collectors (and maybe some lurkers too)  :)

So gentlemen, make your best BIN offer for the lot, and we'll talk about that.

The Greyhawk in this image is up for grabs. 7th I think. Just need to find it. It might be hanging from a piece of string on the back of the door in the outside khazi.

Feel free to submit your BIN (I can't believe that I'm actually saying that  )

David, I think you might actually be interested in this then.  Personalised by one of the true greats.  Bill Edwards?

Just Google him and there he is.  Immortalised

*ROTFLMAO*

OK, I take that back... Some history is best left buried! ;)

<MrFilthyIke>, <beermotor>; keep walking; don't look back :P

Neither can I, John. Have a thought for the poor BIN that has to digest that...

(p.s. All credit to ya if you ever manage to get rid of that scruffy, unwashed dog-of-a-Greyhawk and have money changing hands... in your direction. *g*).

OK; enough piss-taking for one night! ^^ :D

If it doesn't have any pages cut out of it, I'm interested.  (Do you have a BIN in mind?  Say $2?)  :)

Mine is in worse shape -- several pages have been savagely scissored and there is what appears to be a cigarette burns on the cover!

Fortunately, the previous owner left their name and address in the book, so I'm considering tracking him down and giving out a pounding.

i have a greyhawk book lying around in one of my boxes, think its a 12th print, but its in pretty nice condition. i have others, but am trading them with someone already, so this (for now) is the only one i have. i don't really want to sell it and would rather trade it for something.....which is cheaper than buying! :)

if anyone fancies that, send me a msg / e-mail and i will provide a few pics of the book for you.

cheers, Al

Sounds like you're grading it as Poor.

Poor: Fit for a reading copy only. Heavy damage, to include severely torn/missing cover or pages.

Fair: Pretty battered copy, but whole and complete. Tears may be present.

Sounds OK to me. And no other offers have been forthcoming. I'll check for missing pages.

Don't speak too soon. This one might end up with your name and address on the cover. As well as a few stamps. I don't think it's worth the expense of an envelope.

Nope, I wasn't grading it at all, I'm just cheap. ;)  But I figured if I went with $1 someone might snipe me.

If you do that, please arrange them neatly and I'll resell it as a "mailing cover" version.  You could throw in that dandy TSR sticker as the return address label.

No missing pages.  But a lot of underlining and annotations.  Check your PM.

*dragging back on track*

Any other folks w/ OCE on the cheap? Beaten up ones? Homeless/boxless ones? :)

Also, anyone selling a GAZ1 Grand Duchy of Karameikos?

I'd rather not buy from Tonyas Swap Shop after reading about
her here, and after reading her language used by herself at her store.

Like I said, I've got a nasty Greyhawk to go.  No response from deimos3428 and his $2 offer yet.  How about you?

And shipping to the USA would no more than £3 as it's not worth using anything more than an envelope given its condition.
