edits for clarity to title and post.

I understand these are new.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I wish it the listing referenced the fact they were new and set a BIN. They arent vintage.

I think a lot of folks wont care that they are new. I think they look great. It just seems to value some short term gain off a higher selling price for the first few auctions - which costs credibility later. It seems short sighted and too clever by half.

I don't think there were any like these.  They aren't very rare either:

vintage dungeons and dragons tsr rare collectors item limited porcelain sign: Search Result | eBay

Novel idea, but there's some shady wording in these auctions.

This gave me an idea... What about D&D ashtray?!

...iirc they were not produced despite the fact that many people at TSR at that time were hard smokers...

I feel like this is something my arts and crafty grandma (from Wisconsin of course) would have made with me in the early 80’s during summer vacation stays in attempts to relate to my D&D obsession… :D

Seriously speaking, that auction should not be here but in the shady thread... If you have a look at the 0-feedback seller you will find several of these dishes... Among them also this one:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

This is the recent reprint of the OCE... This means that these items have likely been produced now...

That would be very cool.  I have a few Playboy Club ashtrays from the 70's (Gen Con X @ the Lake Geneva Playboy Club was in 1977).

These people are lying thieves and should be avoided and shunned at all costs.

I wouldn't go that far. Muaddib5, aia, & Supernaut's grandma probably aren't such horrible people. They're just misunderstood.

I think I have some bunny head stir sticks left also.  I did a shadow box for the Gary Con auction a few years back.
