I think WOTC sent them out to people judging from random Twitter posts of people opening their boxes.  It must have been some contest or something.

No idea how many were made/sent.

Ebay is probably going to be the place to get one now.

WotC has does promo kits like this for several of their releases. They only seem to go out to folks who have participated in their high profile online events. I've never seem ANY of them pop up on eBay as I imagine that would be a pretty quick way to get taken off the list.

Ok then don't tell anyone that I bought the one I posted a picture of for $25 off ebay

I'm not the type that would want to get someone in trouble.......

BTW - I now have adventure 2 posted on the blog.   I think I can get all 7 by end of next week.  Their system for redemption isn't the most bulletproof I've ever seen so don't overpay for boxes of candy on ebay.  You can have the modules for free if they dont patch the hole.

Say what you want about WotC and stuff like this, but I love that D&D is more "mainstream popular " than ever.
