So, can anyone recommend the best free sniper software out there? Or is it even worthwhile using the free ones? What's the scoop? I just got sniped today... rassinfrassin...

Get used to it. That happens to me on a VERY regular basis.

People around this place often wonder why it is that I sometimes have bids on a dozen items at one time.

I win with perhaps one in ten of by bids... Snipers get the rest.... perhaps the others slip by them, or they get bored and let it go.....

Mostly it is my best snipin' buddy harami....

He has often told me to go on the snipe, and perhaps some day I will. He can lead you to some 14 day free tril spots. I never did write any of them down, so I dont recall where they are. But I recon if you typed Auction Sniping Software in your browser you might get some hits.

Following my own advise above, I just did that and I got 76,900 hits. Some of them have got to be good ones.

Best of luck.

And good snippin' to ya' if you get some of that snipin' software...

The irritating thing is the item that got sniped was a $5 item. Yeesh. Luckily I just saw a BIN one today, so I'm gonna just go for that.

Thanks! Actually, I found auctionsniper.com yesterday and signed up, but they can only promise a 10-20 second snipe (unless I pay a premium), which I doubt will be good enough.

http://www.esnipe.com/ ; fairly good bid management system and 14 day free trial. After that, the general 1% cost for US auctions (on successful auctions only) are trivial compared with the potential for getting carried away in bidding wars and the hassle of having to be awake 24/7. ;)

I use EZ sniper : Free ebay auction sniper software. Snipe auctions online. Automatic esnipe bid sniping agent. They only charge you if you win. Also there are no monthly fees. You just deposit $10 or more with them and they take their fees from that when you win. I have used them for awhile and have use less than $20 so far.

I got sniped on that GenCon program at the last second.

I don't mind that people use it.

No fun that I couldn't counter the bid, but other than that, happy that the person had to pay $50 more than they would have if I hadn't been bidding.

I used a sniper site to great effect last Sunday. So I'm happy. Don't know if I really saved money or if I overspent though...

I got the JG City State Tarantis for $33.50 (from guido, all ya'lls favorite story teller!)... Judging from what the other JG city states regularly go for, and the fact that it was SW, I think I did... okay.
