I had forgotten about the Myth Drannor box set. I have all 22 of the other boxes and books I mentioned. Thanks Dvergguden, something for the want list!

I have all but the Elminster ecologies and apparently the the Myth Drannor set.  I never even knew about the Myth Drannor mini box.  Wow, nice info.  I think the Elminster Ecologies is a bit rare too.  There are a couple on Ebay at the moment but beat to hell.

I have never seen a myth Drannor except from a couple of collectors here on Acaeum, you being one of them.

To me it seems Myth Drannor is a unicorn of rarity.  Would like to find one someday.  And Elminster Ecologies is uncommon, I wouldn’t say rare though.  The other box sets seem fairly easy to find.

As to the books, the DMG, Players handbook and Manual of the planes seem to be the ones that go for the most money, but none of the books seem hard to find.

I've always been curious about the mini-books.  Are they practical, meaning readable and usable, or were they simply produced as a novelty?

They were surprisingly readable when I saw them in the '90s. Today, if I saw them again, probably not so much. So the answer depends upon the age of who answers. Or admitted age.

They are really a cool novelty, but if you have good eyesight, you might be able to use them in a well lit room.  Since they are highly collectible, I wouldn't suggest using them now though.
