Funny, just today I received a large shipment of Warhammer books which I had unpacked on the floor.  My daughter was just starting to crawl towards the stacks and I jokingly said to her:

"Be careful, sweetie, that's almost $600 worth of Warhammer books!"

I thought my wife was going to pass out!  She knows I buy and sell quite a bit on eBay, but she is always unprepared when I actually state how much certain purchases cost me.  She said to me with all seriousness:

"$600!  What if something terrible happened to you!  What would I do with all these books!"

To which I replied:

"If something that terrible happened to me, I would hope that you could get over a $600 loss . . . "  :)

Still, I told her to come and register on these forums, explain the situation and ask for advice on how to best get rid of all the "geek stuff" (to use her words) I have everywhere.

That is, after the grief has subsided enough for her to move on with life . . .   :D

Wow...A guy takes a short leave and the next thing you know he's had a heart attack or is dead???

Anyway, thanks for the concern and back up from all those who were concerned.

I indeed fell off the "internet" planet many months back. Now I am back, but extremely busy with work so I can only check in on this site from time to time. I just came across this string a few minutes ago.

It looks like some people had issues with my last auction (december '04??). If it was not resolved, let me know and I will correct the problem.

Well, I am back and I will try to become a regular - if that is possible - contributor to this site again.


And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

That is it. If you're not online, you're presumed "missing in action".

It's becoming normal to have an email address, and it's becoming normal to have people write to it and you to answer. If you don't, now people begin to worry if you're ok and well.

Our electronic characters are becoming more and more real nowadays - so much that we need to care about our "electronic life" much more than before.

So, welcome back bbarsh - nice to know you're ok and here again.

Well finally, everybody here is fine.
But that pointed out something important :

- dont forget to inform your relatives that all that "geek" stuff is not only a crazy strange obsession that caused dommage to your Mental Health (roll d100 every lost auction or lose 1d4) BUT can offer you great funerals and can gather all people from Acaeum, to help your widow.

- and dont forget to specify that you want in your grave, under your head your mighty Woodgrain, at your left your fantastic Orange B3 and at your right your amazing RPGA series. :wink:
If you only had an OCE.... :lol: shame on you! Don't expect many people from here at your funeral.
