Has anybody ever thought of creating a D&D museum cataloging all things XD&D?

I have thought about loaning parts of my collection to a local Game shop for display, I just have not yet checked into the insurance ramifications.  Between the Acaeum and Matthias's website you have a fairly comprehensive virtual museum...

I'd love if someone thought about creating a museum for D&D products. I think it would be a great idea. Perhaps at Gencon, they should have a booth showcasing all D&D items. I'd be happy to help out and I know a few friends who would help also.

I figure when I kick the bucket, my entire collection and a sizable sum of cash will go to a university that establishes a RPG history room in their library.  How's that for philanthropy?

I'm establishing the Mike Kuo University of Role Playing Research and Gaming. Remember to leave me your collection and sum in your will.  8)     Seriously, I would do the same thing as Will said.

Hey Red_Bus, very aware of that site already. Has lots of information about the different systems, etc. However that "museum" is based on the guys private collection. I don't even think you can go and view his collection.  I've talked to the guy and he is pretty nice. Send him a email or whatnot.

Yeah and it looks like it is in his garden shed!  Thanks.  We are starting to get museums for almost everything over here...   so it is only a matter of time before someone with a really big rpg collection sticks a sign up on his garage.  Regards..
