We have an update.   :?

Clyde was asked about progress on the art commission, and he replied that he was doing well and:

As I mentioned in my previous email, my progress on the commissions has been extremely slow.  This is due to the fact that I spend most of my work time filling and shipping website orders.  My website has done really well over the past several years and provides a good bit of my retirement income, which is a good thing.  The negative is that I spend fewer hours working on actual art projects.  However I'm still hanging in there on the commissions and will get to yours ASAP.  Sorry it's taken so long.  I hope it'll be worth the wait!


I am tempted to request that everyone should stop buying Clyde's stuff on-line, but I really don't feel that way.  I know there will be a call for an interim art project,  but finding an old-school artist that would excite seventy plus Acaeumites to fork over $200 or so would be challenging.   There have been many suggestions since this artist was announced, but unless there's a dramatic shift in the committee's thinking, I think we're going to stay the course.  Hang in there!  I believe it will be worth the wait!   8)

By the way, we have several folks who have not confirmed they are in but have participated in past projects.  If they don't want to confirm now, it's not a problem, but if you want to give them a heads up, that's fine by me.  It's also possible that some of these people have been abducted by aliens or circumstances making it highly unlikely that they'll participate.  Or maybe someone who had confirmed their interest in participating has changed their mind.  Absent an update, I'll keep everyone on the Loyalty List until the demand for payment is requested and they don't ante up.  Here are the people who've not yet confirmed their interest:

Whoa...Gnat/Ane last posted on the Acaeum in 2016? I thought I had a conversation with him here just recently, but now I look it up & that was in 2015...we must truly be getting old when when we lose track even of who's disappeared. One day you'll wonder where everybody went.
