I see this one includes the Return, but is it worth anything?

The RTTTOEE used to sell for around $25 until this year. It now regularly sells for over $30 and sometimes even over $40. It's a massive dungeon crawl. My group's been playing it for nearly three years now and they are now approaching the final battle. I think Monte Cook could have cut it down to about half the size and it would have been OK. It's just too long. The ties to the original module are there, but not overly strong. Most of the action takes place in a completely new place. The adventure has some very good ideas, unfortunately also a lot of flaws. The module has its own forum, too.

afoolandhis$ wrote:Sorry, my mistake: it was $17.99, and now that I've looked at the listing again I see that I paid $7.50 for shipping, so no real difference there from what you paid.

That's a great deal you've got there. TOEE usually goes for a bit more.

Hmmm, had no idea.  I picked up a copy at Barnes & Noble about 3 years ago, but haven't gotten around to running it yet.  I can see why it would take years to complete, though.  My god, it's taken me years to just read it.  :)

More to the point, where did the Boot Hill go? :(
*waves to Frank*

Looks like they all totally vanished (not in an "end of auction" manner), including that Angus McBride item... Strange.

Busy little thread! My "interesting items" list from last night is now three pages back. :)

Me too. Look good 8O

thx for forwarding the scans, John. By "looks good" do you mean "looks good" or "looks genuine"? ;)
That's a scan of a genuine copy, anyhow. :D

=

Has anyone asked whether that was the copy bought at GenCon two years ago?
$500 was the purchase price, there, and coincidentally the opening price on this one.
404 - File or directory not found.

(Two tone map, btw :))

Hrmm... Scans are a bit trimmed and the high resolution image shows up the faults on the folder; some creases, fading, minor rubbing, dents, etc.
Possibly heavily pressed at some point (there's an apparent impression of the pages and cur.l at the top-right of the folder). Is it a single-sided version?
Re. the "probably due to age" comments; could just as easily be moisture or a bit of sun (for the folder), phps??

Still a good looker, though.
And if the folder has kept the internal pages in minty condition, with those two minor exceptions...

The AQ MC is rarer than you think. And it's a steal at this BIN (even though the condition could be better...)

*reads*. "...ended early by eBay for violating one or more of our listing guidelines"

Keyword spamming??

Did you still include the full list of what you still had to sell, Frank?

I once won an auction from dwarfbeard back in like 2000, sent the like $7 MO and never got the stuff.  Forgot to leave him feedback as did he forget, but never got the dark sun thing I ordered.  :(

That one was coutesy of me.    I probably should have bough it myself and resold it, but I thought the market was treending down on them. APparnetly not as I have seen several go for more that $40.00 the last couple of weeks.

I changed the text from the old version. It had keywords, but it said "This item is a rarity, from the days when items like Fazzlewood, Lost Tsojconth and Palace of the Vampire Queen were still on the retail shelves."

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.
