Would it have been OK to have insinuated you were being a bit presumptuous, then, even though I wasn't?

If the image is over-saturated, drop the contrast like a stone. (Had to go to -70% or more there, which is crazy!).

Still gonna be watching the final price, though... :D

Best wishes,

David.

Interesting stuff.  I'm running the monitor at 50% brightness & 100% contrast.  Maybe that's giving me an "edge" spotting stuff.   I turned the brightness up and the starburst vanished...

Still no bidders. Hrmm....

Might as well post, as is "possibly of interest".

And probably saving on costs in not burning out the monitor, too! :)

[edit] OK, I hope 100% contrast is considerably less than 100% on my monitor!

(Heh, heh... But does it point out hidden 1st Chainmails or ST1s in mixed lots for you?).

Hrmm....

Well, being an OCE would hardly damage its value in the current marketplace!

Well that certainly is the truth. Pretty scary huh? 8O

Heh. Well it stuck at $110.

Maybe they did think it was a 5th.

Or possibly noticed the "slight brown coloring simply from its age" comment when faced with a brilliant white image ;)

Still, compared with some of the other OCEs that wasn't a "bad" price. With emphasis on "relatively speaking"....

Definitely!  I've picked up 4 S1s and 4 T1s in this month alone!  And tons of chainmail minis!  And you folks think they're rare...

Good buy Tom.  I was going to buy it myself and then resell it, but I just didn't think the hassle of listing it was going to make me enough money to make up for it.

Looks to be an earlier printing of the MM. I am guessing third though it is hard to tell from the image...

Ditto on the good buy. I struggled with that one off and on. It looked slightly better than my copy I keep. I was watching it and if not one had bought it by later today I was. Thanks for freeing up some money for ther things Tom  :D

Not a lot of time left, but 5 of the 1st 6 Dragon Magazines, all of which look to be in pretty decent shape. Less than 2 hours to go though:

Am just going to wait until <quiltmom> burns out (presuming they eventually win at high $).

Hmm...  $204 for #2 with some large creases. No thanks, even if they had been willing to accept non-N.American bids!

Wow those really heated up at the end. When I posted that link, Dragon #1 was at $125 and #2 was at like $41.00.  8O
