I am in no position to issue "gagging orders".  I encourage an open discussion on the grading system which should be used by the valuation board. It was merely an attempt to prevent cluttering up this post and bore the other members with our discussion.

BTW, I have sent you that email.

I would suggest the following:

1.  Move these topics to the Valuation Board thread and erase them from this thread.

2.  Continue the discussion.  I find it interesting and informative.  IMO, the more opinions that are garnished, the better the end result will be.  This is also very eye opening for those of us with a little less experience with D&D as myself (although not entirely lacking, I admit freely that most of you have much more than I).

I a separate and more humorous matter:

Look, it's like politics. Just to say NO is not enough.

Actually, in politics that's often more than enough.

Not for the voters.

Not true...it was enough for the German Chancellor to be elected just by saying "NO" to Iraq....

To clarify...this is not a serious post...just a little political sarcasm to try to lighten the mood.... :)

Yes, that's the one. BTW, you are discrediting yourself by quoting from a private email on a public forum.

Edit: I received your PM, your email does not seem to work. You have made your point clear and I do not wish to drag this any further. I hope you can accept that.

(replies sent via PM owing to email not working)

...no, you did not need to "put me down" by /forcing/ things on to a

private response, and further emphasise that by saying you'd done so.

You could just as easily have sent the email without telling the whole

board. Agree?

It's exactly the same as a school teacher taking a naughty pupil to the

corner of the room to talk to them 1-on-1. Not that that's allowed

nowadays, I suspect.

If your "assessment of my character" was correct, I'd now post the

rest of that private email...

Regards,

David.

Wasn't sure what point you were trying to make there, Ralf, especially after your own "It was merely an attempt to prevent cluttering up this post and bore the other members with our discussion" comment...

EDIT: Noted receipt of copy emails by Ralf.

Yup, ISP looks like it's stuffed here and I'll be getting copies of your email for the rest of my life, since it's failing to flag as being read. Gee, thanks...

I have no desire, but somebody better bid that up because there is no way we let the fuzzball get that for just $51.00 plus shipping  .

Hi guys,

Something weird and quite unusual (i think, never seen much on ebay france), the first version of our favourite game in French... the red box, with a cover by Erol Otus, and its module. After that version, we had the more common red box with red dragon.

The last one soared to about 50 Euro (65 - 70 $ perhaps / French OCE  )

Too bad, I might have been interested, but it says he ships to France only   :(  Shipping seems a bit on the high end as well

Of course it goes in Roleplaying. Helps when you play Doctor. I operated a lot on one of my neighbors' sisters when I was a lad.
