Please don't bid up the auction way too much if you can't afford to pay, Ian! :?

I won't be bidding on it unless it stays below about $300, and I doubt there's anyone here that would let it go that low.
Besides, I bought them all from SVGames before they dtopped selling PDFs. I'm more interested in the RPGA series. Wouldn't mind a copy of those in PDF form.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Many of the higher bidders on the Rs and RPGAs aren't (visible) on the board, either.

Agreed, but the Dragons & Strategic Reviews were probably "better" at that money...

The Dragon Magazine Archive is a great product. Its a great shame they never put it all onto a DVD, 'cos it fits on a single disk. It would be great if they did a Dungeon Archive, but I don't see it.

Nothing too special, but for you UK folks here is a Cthulhu Deities & Demigods with a less than $20.00 BIN. Shipping seems a bit high, but still should be well worth it:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
OCE set including Ref Sheets but no box. ALso, contains both a 6th print Blackmoor & an earlier unlabled Eldritch Wizardry:

I threw in a just over $400.00 bid, totally not expecting a win, just wanting to piss off Coug.  He's emailed me about 25 times this week with his Titanium rated powerseller rant.

Well, I just jacked him up even further and exposed his high bid in case anyone is planning a snipe. :)

This seller has some common items up, but most of them seem to be in real good condition, so ithey could be some gap fillers and/or replacements:

123kslane in Toys & Hobbies > Games| eBay

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also here is a huge lot of items that looks strikingly similar to an auction that was up not to long ago:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

It is a large lot, but shipping lists at $300.00 8O

We have a winner! (Silliest Auction Price & Laughable Item Description at the same time..and probably Shady Dealer, too, if my hunch is right).

If you're going to try to sell something for $15k, how about a little more description than the number of items and it's weight?

It's particularly reassuring that he feels the need to state he keeps the collection indoors...  8O

Yea nice description too. No item list, no condition list and no pictures. I think I might have to skip that one.  I am not even going to waste my time asking any questions.

<edit>
Okay, I changed my mind. I asked him the following questions:

bclarkie wrote:Um, could you be a little more specific on the items that you have for sale in both what you have and the conditions of each. Specifically I would be looking to see if you have AD&D modules R1, R2, R3, R4, RPGA1, RPGA2, RPGA3, RPGA4, Dragon magazines 1-50, Polyhedron Magazines 1-50, Dungeon Magazines 1-50,Strategic Review Magazines 1-7 or Strategic Preview MAgazines 3-6, any of the Original Woodgrain D&D box set(s) or White Box Sets, the 2nd ed AD&D module Jade Hare with or without the cover, the Tournament Monochrome versions of AD&D modules: Lost Tamoachan, Lost Caverns of Tsojconth, Ghost Tower of Inverness, AD&D module ST1,Orange cover version of D&D module B3-Palace of the Silver Princess, the AD&D Fighting Wheel, any of the 10th Anniversary Combo packs or Box Set, Wild Things, Dark & Hidden Ways Wee Warriors items Dwarven Glory, Palace of the Vampire Queen, and Misty Isles, . Also, if you are seriously trying to sell these items some picture might be helpful to potential buyers. Thanks

AND.......
bclarkie wrote:Dear Seller, I am also interested in seeing if you have these following itmes in your lot for sale as well: Daystar West modules Pharoah(bright orange cover) or Rahasia(light blue cover), original D&D geopmorphs 1,2, and 3 all seperate sets, Dwarven" Quest for the Rod of Seven Parts, the Character Archaic, any Adventurer's Guild modules, the 1985 version of the First Quest Album or cassett tape, Gamers Wrokshop Hex Sheets or Dungeon Floor sheets, Guidon Games CHainmail (gold cover), OUtdoor Geomorphs, and any first printing (must be printing not edition, if you are not sure I can clarify the difference) Monster Manual, Players Handbook, or Dungeon Masters Guide. Thanks again.

Lets see if I get any response. That is a lot to digest

Well, I did get a rather quick response to my question, and the guy in his repsonses seems to be genuinely nice enough, although I think a bit misguided to the value of what he is selling. Here are his responses.

To question #1:

geoffreyt5712 wrote: Sorry about the poor descriptions, first time I've tried to sell on ebay. What I have is almost all of the original AD&D first edition modules A through UK with the exception of a few missing, example C5, I7, I9, I12, I have pretty much all the dragon magazines from 55 through 85 and a few more, All the original Manuals including stuff like Demigods, Fiend folio Unearthed Arcana. Basic modules expert modules companion modules oriental adventures, master series immortal series, gazeteers, first quest games /adventures with cds Dragon Archive cd 2nd edition manuals adventures and third edition manuals adventures. Don't have dragon magazine 1-50, any polyhedron magazines or stategic review, no original woodgrain or White boxed sets. I know I have Lost Tamoachan, Lost Caverns, Ghost tower (not sure if they are tournement series but I have them, not sure about ST1 I have B3, don't have the fighting wheel, I have anniversary items, and I have the four supplement player creature books

And to question #2:
geoffreyt5712 wrote:I have the rod of seven parts adventure

I think I will direct him here for assistance.

Heh, good plan. I think if he dropped a zero from the pricetag, he might be entering the realm of reason ;)
