Mmmmm....green rabbits.

Looks like I have been outed. :)

"Outed"?

Do you have a previously undeclared fetish for green rabbits, then, Brian? :P

*weeps for the English language...* ;)

Well, truthfully I prefer my green rabbits a little more "covered", but that will do just fine.

Thanks David for putting me out of my misery. :) I would have loved to Buy that, but the 1st print Woody last month put me a little in a hole and although my Credit Card company would have loved me, my soon to be fiance would have killed me. :o

$825..

*rummages around on the floor for his jaw*

If I ever spent that much on a game item, my wife would ensure that anyone wanting to read it would have to do so from the interior of my colon ;)

My first thought was "how the hell did I miss that?", then I realized the auction lasted less than an hour.  Despite some people's beliefs, I am not omnipresent.

My second thought was, "wow, great deal."  $825 is not only a lot of money, its a bargain at the same time.  Ponder that one a while.

Enough with the praise on his great deal!  You guys are gonna make me think I should have upped the BuyItNow.  :D
Seriously, I agonized for 20 minutes over what I should set the BIN to.  I put in everything from 700 to 950.  I finally split the difference with $825.

Now all of you, get to eBay and bid on my other auction!  8)

Not everyday you see an OCE in this condition!

David's all over that one, too...guess he's going for a shipping discount or somethin'.
Now everybody go look at my supplements auction...it's not everyday you see copies in that condition, either...fortunately.

OK... You know that sensible price is much appreciated Gus! Thank you! :)
If it had been any less, I would have rounded it up to that.

I was sitting on the latest of Frank's copies to go up (looks like the twin to yours, with one less minor spine crease) at ~$850, but Jeff and Giorgio <radagast> pushed it higher at the end (and remembering Giorgio's bidding on that 2nd Chainmail and OCE, he doesn't hold back... *waves*).

I think I'd've still hit the button at $850. $875 probably not. At $900, I would definitely have thrown in however much I needed to hit the reserve ($500) and then sat back, crossing fingers for a win after 7 or 8 serious attempts including at least one where the sale was retracted after agreement.

Is now the most I've paid for any one item ahead of $800 (NM Daystar Rahasia) and $729 (VF Black Folder PotVQ).
If I can somehow pick up the last three or four items I'm really looking for at similar increments, I'll be more than happy.

Indeed, nice OCE! :D

Much better than that one I won at $140 which just arrived today. Had paid $25 for boxed shipping, but the packing company they gave it to wrapped in brown paper and sent it over for $7.55.
Another one bites the dust. :(

Gus; could we have a scan of the top edge of the box, please? The shrink certainly appears "good" from this angle and also helps to have that history.

*lol*. D'you I was just thinking of you when I was typing that previous message.

Gus had a $150 reserve on his. Was tempted to bid $149.99 but remembered how much trouble I got into last time I did that trick (although ex-keep was stupid enough to add his price to the auction text )
Wouldn't dare try for combined shipping. Orange B3s don't wrap around OCEs very well.

David, he could always just open the box set fold it up the B3 into quarters and stuff it in there all in one nice shipable package. 8O 8O 8O

Anyone else still a bit surprised that Silver Anniversary set without L3 is still sat there at $19.99 BIN after more than two days? :?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5227734563
presumably the print is unsigned, too?

Nice box to put stuff in... :D

Not really. Just the reprints left in there. L3 and the TSR book are the neat ones in that set.

*g*. Some people want the world for $20, I guess. ;)
Oh well, was worth a try.

Anyone possibly going to try to slink those Dragon CDs at a lower price, given the seller's unfortunate(?) feedback rating?

$5 with 6 1/2 days to go

And did we get a definitive answer to that sheet color of the M&TA in that early Basic set? *checks*
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5226561975
still at $10 with >1 day to go

Actually, I believe that sheet is part of the Geomorphs, Set 1. The other thread is still waiting to hear back from grodog or bbarsh or anyone else with the goods.

I'll continue this discussion there:
Dungeon Geomorphs - sets 1, 2, 3 vs. 1-3 blurbs • Collecting General •  The Acaeum

(pardon all of the edits, just learning how to quote threads effectively)

Actually, it looks like the guy was the victim on his negative. The neg came form a seller that sold him a preview PS2 copy of a PS2 game without saying in the auction it was a preview. The seller that left the neg for the guy has a crapload of similar comments.
