This should go for a bloody fortune  8O :

cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&a ... eName=WDVW

Seller has lots of other nice stuff too.  (I already inquired as to the accuracy of that Eldritch being a 1st, we'll see...)  Is the seller an Acaeum member?  That name looks sorta familiar, but I can't place it.  :)

Shouldn't be too far off, IMHO.
Feel free to boost the price as much as you wish: easy enough to sell off a few Rs/RPGAs to cover, if required! ;)

"box has obviously seen better days, and is well worn, with some math scrawled on the box-top in ink, and the top-side flap is missing... The books themselves are also worn but in suprisingly good shape. Book two has 4 pages missing, however, and the extra tables are yellowing around the edges"

Have seen better.

What I didn't mention before, since the seller seemed an honest type who'd already been pushed very hard by several people into setting a (low) BIN, is that it's not possible to replace the missing four pages in that copy of Monsters & Treasure with pages from any of the other printings (not even the "early" 1st, really): Paul can confirm that, if my copies of the various printings conform to his.

Wow, slow week. I only saw 3 white boxes up. Wonder if it is a trend.

For the longest time, I thought some of the modules actually originally came like that.  :o

The fact that the Moldvay Basic and Expert rules ARE holepunched tends to reinforce that.

When I started recreating my childhood collection and got my first Moldvay set, my initial reaction was "Dammit! Who holepunched this!?!? "

But then I started sifting through the back halls of my brain, and dimly recollected that this was how it was supposed to be....

I got a neutral a couple of months back on ebay because the AD&D module wasn't attached to the folio's map cover.  *sigh*

I was just casually scanning. I'm sure there are quite a few more up. Obviously my sarcasm was directed at the fact that these still go for big money. They really just aren't that rare.
I am willing to bet that there are more whiteys up right now than there are B2's.
