Interesting Lot here currently at $76.00 with less than an hour to go:

Interesting because it contains a TSR Worlds Newsletter in it as well as 4 D&D box sets and some pretty nice Greyhawk material.

I was tempted to to take a stab at it, but I all but maxed myself last Friday night.

I'd asked the seller if they would ship to the UK.  But they didn't get back to me in time for me to bid.  Otherwise I would have pushed the price a bit higher.

Quite a big lot of mostly second edition stuff.  Lots of hidden gems though.

Complete Book of Necromancers
Full set of Encyclopedia Magica
Forgotten Realms Atlas
The Marklands
Greyhawk Ruins
Some early Dragon mags (28,29,75)

Shipping is $110 by UPS ground or $45 via USPS media.  Only ships to U.S.  At least cougar wont be getting his grubby little hands on it.

This is a great game. I owned it a long, long time ago, and alas, lost too many of the pieces and threw it out :(

This guy used to bid on his own items to push up the prices. You need to be very careful about buying from him.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I was told by the guy who sold me Khan game that it sucked. Got it for a dollar.

Well, admittedly I haven't played it since I was a kid, but it was great fun back then ;)  I remember it was sort of like Risk.

Interesting lot of AD&D colouring books here - none of which I recognize. Does anyone know more about these? From the description, it looks like they are somehow tied into the early 80's line of action figures.

I have at least 2 of those. I think I might have the third as well. IIRC, they are based on the D&D action figures.

I thought about posting this is the silliest auction prices thread but the only thing that I think is silly about it is that he is asking for a very large opening bid and there are no scans of any of the items and whoever wins the auction will have to trust his judgment on the condition of the items.  Other than that some really good stuff.

I just wish I could have gotten my Greyhawk Ruins for $18.  :)

1FB seller.. not sure I'd be too interested in trusting him on the item conditions ;)

If anyone bids, pay with PP through your CC in case there's problems, heh.

That's a lot of dough to throw at a lot without pictures, in any case.  Nice that Acaeum gets a mention there, unfortunate that our valuations continue to be used as some sort of an authoritative "price guide"...
