I got one, in fact I also lost an auction for one recently (any guesses who won), ended up picking mine up from an online RPG shop (and not nearly in as nice condition).  There are as far as I am aware two printings of Bio One,  or at least I believe there is.  The second print mentions the Boot Hill game, the first print should be devoid of this reference.  However, I have only ever seen a second print, so my facts may be wrong.

There are 2 printings. I sold both a few months ago.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

bclarkie,

8O 8O 8O

J.C., he's got everything backward! All the common stuff has high opening bids and ridiculous BINs. All the stuff that's worth something has low/no BIN, low opening bids. This guy is one mixed-up hombre....

Glad you got to GDQ1-7 first.  That $60 would have been TEMPTING and I am happy to keep it my wallet right now....

I won this from someone on the board only a few months ago. Burnie I suspect. I haven't got email to hand to check. But then I picked up another mintier one. So, this is back up for sale. A steal at £2.50  (I will be out of pocket if I don't do better than that).

It offsets the $20-30 extra you paid for red sonya.

What some guys would do for ascantily clad hot babe with a sword.

I probably did pay a little much for the RS1, but I only did so because for some reason people seem to pay a lot more for it then its actual worth. I have seen okay conditon RS1 go for more than $40.00. I will bet if I sold it tomorrow I would get $60.00 easy. :o I am not really sure why, its not that great of a module. :?

Mmmmmm, dice!

So John,
a bit of a dice fetish going on there, nudge, nudge,   ,  say no more....
Apart from... if this lot is getting you salivating, how about a set still in their original unopened bag?
Personally I've never seen the attraction...

Is this for real?  Are a few old dice really that interesting?  If so and you want some, drop me a PM!

Heretic!

The one constant in every D&D game I played wasn't the DM, players, location, module,... It was the dice.  Every game from 1975 onwards saw the use of those low impact polys.

See original dice resources?

I have a few unopened sets.  But as harami suggested, a cycle or two in the washing machine works wonders. 8O

Picky, picky!  :D

Geez, jonjhargreaves, if johnhuck isn't biting and your offer is more generally directed, I'd be happy to stand in his stead....

Since were on the topic of dice, I have a question. I've heard a story as to the origin of gaming dice. I heard  …that the idea came from teaching aids (small plastic polyhedrons 4's, 8's, 10's etc.) for geometry teachers. They were blank and the numbers were written directly on them. Any thoughts or truth to this?

Yes; hence my question to John as to whether anyone had any of those late 60s polys on that link, above.
Didn't spot John's querying reply, though...
