VERY SCARCE white box. So scarce that 2-3 a week have been showing up on eBay. And they still go for a ton. It's harder to find a decent B2.

Yeah, these do seem to be popping up quite a bit lately.

And you're right...finding nicer copies of some of the mass-produced mods seems to be getting harder than ever.

If you are looking to find a "decent" B2, by the way, here you go, one in EX-NM condition. :)

Hmmm, it seems I still have a 4th or 5th print whitey. Duct taped (no accounting for phuqing idiots). I'll take a vote: do I eBay it or keep it?

Y'know, duct tape might be the one time I'd consider attempting restoration on a piece that was otherwise valuable.  The presence of the duct tape has fubared the boxes' condition, so why not try removing it and cleaning it up?  Maybe not everyone agrees, but to me, DT is one grade below PR.

I'd ebay it, but please try to confirm whether or not it's 4th-/4th printing, first. :)  There's been some discussion surrounding one of them not existing, I forget which one.

What are the specs for each? I haven't bothered keeping up to date with the 4th/5th +/-/%/&/?/(insert favorite printing symbol here) debate.

Hmm, looking back (page 61 of this thread), it seems like this one has been all but wrapped up.  The "4th" hasn't been shown to exist, and is being eliminated.  The "4th minus" will become "4th".  For reference, though, just in case, here are the known (non-woodie, non-OCE) printings:

4th Minus: hard to read font, price on books, states "Fourth Printing" inside.

4th: easy to read font, no price on books, states "Fourth Printing" inside.  Nobody has verified having one, might not exist.

5th: easy to read font, no price on books, doesn't state printing.

Dude, that is a pretty sweet ass woodgrain set, but this is starting to get into silliest auction price of the year territory................
