Always ready to help you, Giorgio.

Seems our furry cougar friend is slugging it out with Ciro (dungeonmaster) - but well, a snipe on the last seconds is always welcome...

If only I have a choice, I don't want to steal it to Ciro ... :) :)
For "our cougar friend" ... maybe you're right: I don't know (I've never dealt with him! )

And, most of all, I prefer the nine gazetteer auction

but not at all costs 8)

My U.S.-only policy is designed to keep out the overseas riff-raff — the guys who, in the past, have asked me to lie on customs forms, have whined and complained when their items didn't arrive instantly, have threatened charge-backs, etc. ... I actually do ship overseas, but only to known and trusted customers.

In other words, I'll gladly ship to any Acaeum member who wants to bid and can pay through PayPal. I don't do M-bags (frankly, I don't even know what they are), but I will ship Global Priority Mail with no extra "handling" charges.

BTW, for those who are scratching their heads: Xaxaxe here = TheDukester on eBay. They are the same person: namely, me.

(aside: Cougie, if you're lurking, this does not include you, so spare me your "Diamond-plated Powerseller" rant.  I've had you blocked for months now, anyway ...)

No way, you should tell him he could bid and laugh hysterically whenever you get the followup email asking you why he is blocked.

The sick thing about these Gazetteers is that TSR couldn't give them away when they came out.

!!!!!!old story warning!!!!!!!!!!!  Back in the late 80s at Gencon TSR had a their monolithic sales center in the Great Hall. But tucked away in a back corner of the hall they had a clearance booth featuring winners like Line in the Sand, those stupid TV-based boadgames, etc. But they also had four or five milk crates stuffed with D&D Gazetteers. I bought the whole damn  series for $1 each; not because I was smart, but because I DMed a D&D campaign and thought they were cool. If I would have been smart, I would have bought every last one. And I was into collecting at the time, but there never seemed like there was much interest in (basic) D&D.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Yeah, the problem with Mystara was that while the world was fantastic — it's still one of the best settings ever done by TSR — it had the stink of "D&D" on it, when everyone was an "AD&D" snob. They tried to fix that later by listing them as "Now adaptable to the AD&D game" with GAZ 7 (The Northern Reaches), but it really didn't help...

Oy. And don't get me started on the boxed sets that were designed for AD&D... let alone the Wrath of the Immortals...

Hi everyone. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster (no, I'm not cougie in disguise - can't you tell by my outrageous accent?).

Anyway, I came across this on eBay today and I thought I'd share it with you. Can't believe someone listed the old D&D handheld game for this much. I saw them going for under $10 a few months ago.

Think it will get any bidders?
