John,

:D Congrats!!.... From the whole gang down here in South Florida...

When he's old enough come to Disney World in Orlando, and then swing on south for a visit…we're only about 3 hours away.

Congratds to you and your good lady - has the newest collector a name yet? (A quick browse through modules at pregrenerated characters names could give you some much needed help - I've always liked Fonkin for a boy (or perhaps Gleep)!!

Thanks for all the well wishing. Mother and son get out of the hospital tomorrow evening (checks watch - this evening). So, I probably won't be around too much over the next couple of weeks during my paternity leave.
I should be in bed now.  But BBC NEWS | UK | UK Politics | Election 2005 is keeping me up.

Ooops...I mean...Congratulations! :D

Maybe a NM. He took a few knocks during delivery :? . But isn't that usually the case?

chromaticknight wrote:Congratulations John !!! Have you picked out the first item for his collection yet ?? :D

As youffie404 pointed out, I like dice. Particularly the low impact ones. So, I've got a set of those earmarked for the boy. And I will probably try and pick up a OD&D set and leave it at that. Less rules, more imagination. 8)

Fonkin and Gleep didn't make it onto the shortlist (or Gutboy). It came down to 2 names and we went with Orson. My sister did comment "ARE YOU SERIOUS? WHAT'S HIS MIDDLE NAME GOING TO BE? KURT?!?"   (Well I thought it was funny  )

Seller has a few quite interesting items including -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... eName=WDVW
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 17960&rd=1

Also a long run of White Dwarfs (dwarves!) from 1 upwards

Congratulations John :D  FYI, one of our FLGS owners mentions that someone's going to be selling oversized, plush dice sets (d4, d6, d8, d10. d12, d20) in a tube in the next few months (Crystal Castle perhaps???).  Anyway, I'll keep an eye out and let you know when I see them :D

I've noticed his stuff before.  Pretty damn nice, some of it.  Thanks for the input.

But something else got in the way and I forgot to snipe.
