Hmmm... Dunno, Frank. Clones aren't exact duplicates, so maybe it's an appropriate phrase.

I'd have to ponder on that a bit.

Or decide it's not really worth the effort.

I was thinking along the same lines....some really high? ending prices on several of their items. Good for the seller though!

I don't like calling any collector's purchase silly, especially when two have to agree on the right neighborhood for an item, but wow to this one, wouldn't have expected this:

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

This seems high for a catalog, even allowing for it coming from the collection of Kevin Hendryx and a Collector's Trove auction. These black-covered catalogs are Uncommon but not Rare. I have one.

That one is the most puzzling to me, especially with the three bids stacked on top. Not only was the winner concerned the auction would go much higher, but multiple people thought it was worth more than a hundred or even a couple hundred. I didn't see anything in the listing which mentioned anything out of the ordinary. Was there some behind the scenes emails or people who viewed it that said there was something different about it?

I've got a copy in just about the same shape (less tears, more use). At some point, it's going to be listed, but certainly not for $40.
