Hi Scott,  Congrats with your new forum! For everybody here, my name is Richard and I have a website on RPG collecting. The main focus of the website is to provide FREE checklists (in PDF format) for your RPG collection. Currently there's only a handful of checklists but the site grows gradually!  Have a look:  http://cc.soundsupport.net  Anyone here who has a website with tools for RPG collecting? Good luck with this forum, Scott! Greets,  Richard

One of the best tools...  Heroic Worlds Lawrence Schick Prometheus Books 1990.  Yes it's a bit out of date, but most of the stuff us collectors are into was before that time anyway.  It's an incredible resource.  If you can find a copy, grab it.  They made a hardcover and a trade paperback if anyone cares.   rhea..

Rhea, et al---  Anyone know if there's a difference between the 1990 and 1997 versions of this book?  See Amazon at:  1990 pb - Amazon.com: Heroic Worlds (9780879756536): Lawrence Schick: Books  or   1997 h/c - Heroic Worlds: A History and Guide to Role-Playing Games: Lawrence Schick: 9780879756529: Amazon.com: Books

No idea.  They both are listed as having 448 pages, so there can't be TOO many differences if any.  My money's on that they're the same book, just a different printing.   rhea..

Thanks Rhea!  What are everyone's thoughts on Schick's Heroic Worlds vs. Holmes' Fantasy Role Playing Games (see Amazon again at Fantasy Role Playing Games: John Eric Holmes: 9780882545141: Amazon.com: Books)?  I owned Holmes' book years and years ago, and have thought about picking it up along with Schick's.  Is it worth it?
