This may have been the wankiest sentence ever seriously uttered. :P

Can I just make a plea here for some calm and thought - its easy to be rude from a keyboard or to hammer out a rant when you are bored. And lord knows I like a bit of distraction too!     ... But the place for online snark is facebook and twitter (or at least I hope so, its why I go there). Not our cosy collecting clubhouse!

Big hugs and snogs to all and may you achieve calm and zen from looking at your lovely pristine collection  :D

Slinging mud is therapeutic isn't it?  :D

In all seriousness, as long as the debates don't get personal, I'm fine with the back and forth jabbering.

“I do have a test today, that wasn't bullshit. It's on European Socialism. I'm not European, nor do I plan on being European, so who gives a crap if they're socialists? It still wouldn't change the fact that I don't own a car!”

Hard agree with this. I come here to avoid politics, not engage in meaningless wanky debates.

Sadly they don't make movies like this anymore...  One of my favorites.

I'd rather people, even in the OT thread, didn't talk political crap also. Or at least dont do it and then ramble on and have a go at people.

Going to pull my head back into my shell now :)

Hey all,

Just came back from my LGS in Hong Kong and picked up those variant lands from Adventures in the Forgotten Realms.

Yes I am missing one of the lands in English.
The Jeff Easley - Den of the Bugbear was sold out at the time.

I'll look to pick it up when it is back in stock.

This deserves its own thread. Nice pickup.

I bought the pre-release bundle and was impressed with the cards. I am not an MTG player (one of my kids is) but these are very cool indeed.

Héctor.

Wow, nice!

I don't play MTG, but I've started an attempt at collecting a full set of the Rulebook Showcase cards and the old school module land cards.

I have finished my PhD training and will move close to Philadelphia, PA to start a new job at Villanova University.

Know of any good gaming stores around Philly?

Héctor.

Congrats, Hector.  I am sure that could come in handy while you are DM'ing and kill off someone's 19th level wizard?    8O

Congratulations!!

Did you know that Villanova University has a gaming club?

- VU Groups

They probably just play Pathfinder and 5th Edition, but maybe it's worth a try.   :?
