A market price requires general transparency of information and active participants.

Ebay auctions may not end near a market price.

You have to at least try to sell your items.  Posting a single (terrible) picture on top of other modules looks sloppy and leads to sloppy outcomes.

Hey all,

Quick update on those variant lands for the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms.

D&D: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Variants | MAGIC: THE GATHERING

Looks like the last 3 have been released and they are by Wayne Reynolds, Adam Rex, and Erol Otus!

Love these, but I'm not sure just how invested I will go into this set.

Speaking of MTG and FR setting, i found several cards similar to this one:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

...so the brilliant idea is to print MTG with the layout of a 1E module?!? Seriously, is this only or there is smtg else???

Might not be such a bad idea. The original premise of MTG is (I guess) that you're casting spells with the components described by the cards. If you are assembling something from modules, it's like you're a DM who is putting a campaign together from various supplements & scenarios.

The art, and some of the text, is just flavor. The effect of the card is really much like any other similar card.

The new Dune trailer looks interesting:

DUNE Trailer 2 (2021) - YouTube

Hopefully it won't be as bad as the first Dune movie.....which is actually not that hard to do....   :?

The new trailer looks insane. I'm a huge DUNE fan, have been since the 80s.

I grew up with the Lynch film, so I like it. The 3 hour extended cut really fleshes out the world & the story better than the theatrical cut.

I never really got anything from the original film.
The new film is looking good, but I probably won't be getting the cinema experience.
Here in the UK they are going to mandate vaccine passports for public indoor spaces and you need to have a tracking app on your phone to scan yourself in to most of these things.
So I'll have to wait until iTunes sells it and watch it on an iPad.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

...or you could get vaccinated and watch it in the theatre?

The Lynch film had great casting for the most part (Jurgen Prochnow really?) but it was saddled with David Lynch changing things. I have very high hopes for the new film.

Agreed, I think this movie gets a bad rap unfairly.

Hmm, looks to have some potential.

Cringed at little at some of the jokey parts but I'd think that's all the laughs that are going to be in it (at least intended ones I hope).

Honestly though, I won't go out and see it. Just too easy to stream and enjoy at home.
