The decay of age is best put by this this item description:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

"13 1/2" Tall, 5" Wide.
1976 Mattel.
Intestine fluid still pumps a bit.
Lungs do not inflate.
Some fraying at the pant's waist.
Some paint loss at the eyebrow and hair."

True words...

Perhaps a little late, but I hope the Acaeum contingent in Texas is hanging in there.

There were some problems with deadly wind generators, but overall we are protected from the elements by the power of free-market economics. When the power goes out, we may console ourselves with knowing that it's all our fault for not choosing a better utility company.

Uncanny how the free market always finds the best solution.

Hi All. Just saying hi as I have not been on for about a year. Got transferred to Pakistan from Uzbekistan and stuck with the pandemic. Rest of family was in Myanmar or Australia (my home). Just got back to Australia to see my eldest son after a year and after 4 cancelled tickets. Rest of family just got out of Myanmar on special flight (because of the coup) and are in the 15 day quarantine here. So will see them soon after 14 months! Life is a bit confusing at the moment, wondering what to do with family and work, but my dedication to all things pen and paper RPG has not faltered. Even finally managed to nab a Norwegian basic D&D rulebook recently, which I have been looking for for years (I speak Norwegian as a second language). I have to go back to Pakistan for work in a month or so, but will try to find a way to connect from there. My collection still in storage. Still love the Acaeum and all things D&D!!!

Amazing! Are you an Aussie? (I am Aussie ex-pat in UK)

What takes you to such varied places? Work in an NGO?

Good to see you sticking to the collecting through thick and thin though! Best of luck!   :D

Thanks all. Glad to see everyone doing well here. I know it has been tough in many parts of the world ... and many have been suffering separations like me. Yes. I'm an Aussie and work in international aid. Pretty exhausted after the last year. Work and hobby a difficult mix these days!!!

Has anyone heard from Jason Zavoda since the start of February?  He's gone dark, and we're trying to check-in on him.

Allan.

He's alive (and well?) selling stuff on RPGAuctions.com. I bought a few things from him.
He's also on the Facebook page buying and selling.

True, this is more of the past couple weeks though. He hasn't posted on his page since the end of January and isn't responding to messages/outreach.

He’s not logged into this site for a month, which is unusual, I trust he’s ok
I think I read a while back he was ill, but that’s all

Agreed, and that's the concern.

Anybody know where he lives in Delaware? Unfortunately, I don't save my mailing labels when I get stuff from people.

We (well, not me - too far away) could do a wellness check if we have someone close.

I went to the rpgauctions site and left him a message on one of his Items for sale, so he knows our concern.

Jason was, so far as I knew, back in Wilmington.

Per Chris at "RPG Auctions - Lobby" on FB:

Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 9:52pm

I've received word from someone that he's had a fall and will be out of selling commission for a bit... If you've purchased something, just send him a message and check on it I guess every few days....if he gets back to me then I'll update this post.

That’s something then, hopefully not too serious
