This whole thing is ridiculous, she should give up and let the people that really care bring this forward.  She behaves like a 5 year old.  In reality Gail has nothing to do with RPG gaming or its origins; she is an opportunist only trying to line her own pocket.  Sad legacy  :(

This thing sort of reminds me of Jerry Garcia and his wife's actions and attitude after he passed away.

Is there a money making reason for this maybe?
I'll admit to not understanding either.

Just fine, no damage here. The tornadoes were west of us.

I did run over to the bruntwire boys place hoping that some damage had occurred.  However, I was not able to loot the place....I mean help the boys salvage their collection.   :D

I was at Xencon in the Quad Cities over the weekend when the storm passed us Sunday morning. We heard a loud BOOM as the thunder struck around us, followed by a hard rain (Yes... we actually heard the rain from the inside of the ballroom).

We finished playing our Pathfinder module that morning. By the time I left to drop my friend off at the airport around lunchtime, the rain had passed.

In my current location -- London -- the 28th is only half an hour off, and though nothing special here it will be Thanksgiving Day back home.  So I will certainly take some time to remember all of the things I can be thankful for this year.  And enjoying a classic Thankgiving dinner at a Chinese restaurant.    So to all my fellow Acaeumites, a very happy Thanksgiving!

Just one week. The eldest son (the one who goes to Gen Con) is here studying for the semester, and the wife decided to use that as an excuse to visit.  Arrived last Saturday, in time for the 50th anniversary Doctor Who convention, and leave this Saturday.  Did the British Museum, the London Eye and Harrods (the wife really wanted to see what it is like) today.  Tomorrow, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath.  Very touristy, but the two younger ones have never been here, and it's been a long time since I've been here for anything other than the job.

We went on Sunday.  So we missed "my" Doctor (Tom Baker, who was only there Saturday), but my youngest got to hug his Doctor (Matt Smith).  The good part was the special had already aired, so they could actually talk about it on the panels.  It was a lot of fun, but they could have done a better job with signage.  Too bad we're missing Dragonmeet, but if I stay any longer I won't have any money left.

And for what it is worth, Stonehenge was awesome, even if you can't get very close to the stones anymore.  They are REALLY big.   8)
