Those a reprints of the original OD&D books, right? In a fancy box with some dice. Not originals from the 70’s? Or am I wrong here. I wasn’t paying attention when they released that boxed set. Dungeonmaster’s Index Doesn’t come up too often, but from a read/user perspective, it’s not too great. Certainly one for the collector. Not much use as a play aid, which of course adds to its scarcity.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

It looked like original books with the reprint's box. I wondered what sort of collecting decisions might lead to having those as castoffs. Wil the seller keep a '70s white box with the reprint booklets for some reason?

Unless you're trying to play an OD&D campaign, in which case it could be somewhat great. So can Dragon #40, with an index going back to The Strategic Review.

It's not the NTRPGCon Reprint that it describes. Looks original to me.
That said, the 'little bit of wear' looks more like a long stay in a bag of water.

Thankfully this seller posted enough pictures for anyone who wants to read it but can't afford to buy it. :D

I'm not sure which sheet you mean, but I like your terminology...a blurb of sheets...a fiasco of audits...a headache of expense reports...a miasma of zoom calls...

I think you are referring to the last photo, which is a picture of the ephemera that the seller received when joining Games Workshop club.  It's kind of a "Welcome Kit", similar to what was received when becoming a RPGA member.

Interesting, I'm way outta my depth on this mini (and dragonlance) stuff. But what you think would be fair? Kind of an instant DL collection really.

No comment on this exact set, but I can’t even recall how many DL modules I sold at $5-10 and had trouble getting even that. I’m glad the dragonlance line has become strong.  Has anyone played them they as a campaign?  I didn’t, even bitd they seemed railroady

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

My group played the first 2 modules and lost interest.  But it could have been due to a green DM.  However we started this right after an exhausting GDQ romp which ran nearly 3 months if I recall correctly.  Running that series was fun but probably the hardest I've ever done.
