Not sure what printing these are, and the price seems a bit steep (?), but the books sure do look like they are in wonderful condition.

Yeah, those look like they'd creak when opened.

Although they are all later printings than the older uncommon-rare printings that are worth big money...
Those books are obviously out of the publishers shipping crate new looking and yeah, I bet all three would creak if opened.

As for the current price, I do not think that amount is even close to being out of line for those sweet looking books.
In fact I would eagerly pay $20 each (maybe more) for those books and in fact I just bid that, but was auto outbid by a previous bidder.
Obviously I am not the only one willing to do so.
Good luck to the current bidder and any other future bidders.

What are these worth?  I wouldn't mind having a copy but this one looks kind of rough.

$65 to $100 for a decent copy.  That was a deal, even though it was a really rough.

I don't have one of these yet and would love to have a signed one, but this is a bit out of my range.  :?

More than twice the going rate from the begging of this year. Don't know if the prices have increased since then.

Prices on these always vary wildly.  A good general price is around $150 but sometimes the fish will go biting on BINs of $200+.

If you are looking for a signed one, then you sometimes pay a premium but I'm sure a number of these sell unnoticed as being "special".  Once you open the shrink, there is no distinguishing marks on the box to say it is different other than looking at the print and knowing signed means its one of the 1000.

Elmore and Arneson's autographs are tempting but not enough for at least double the amount I would pay for a complete set and This one looks incomplete to me.

Though the box Cover is signed by three folks, the set looks to be missing a few pieces.
Most notably the "signed" (or un signed) Jeff Easley Lithograph.
Also not pictured is G-3  Hall of the Fire Giant King and an insert that does not matter except to completists.
The extra module is barely worth mentioning (IMO) even if signed by the author.

I would not pay that much for it (even if it was an Easley Signed set and known to be complete) and I specifically look for the signed sets.
In fact I would hesitate to pay $150 for it even with the Arneson and Elmore sigs, as it looks incomplete.

Gnat, what do you think a sealed version with the signed print would go for? One of the limited 1000 jobs. Curious. :)

If it was sealed and included the sticker indicating that it was the limited signature edition I would happily shell out $175 or more... depending on overall condition... Likely more...

Why, do you have one for sale?
If so, PM ME !
