Let's run a poll to find out, who the Fabolous Five are, the five most important collectors with the largest and most diverse RPG collections worldwide.

invincibleoverlord...... You have my vote.

From what I have been able to gleen from this forum thread, the rest of the Acaeum Forum and from E-Bay, I would think that invincibleoverlord would be in the top five, or at least very close to the top five...

Although I would not want to help his head get any bigger.....

Stay cool IOL....    8)

I've gotten much better at taking photos with my new digital camera, so I edited out the fuzzy pics. Here's some better ones plus a few more.

Does anyone remember the Trivi Athion in 96? The free handout at game stores where you answered questions on one side, and mailed it in to win a trip to GenCon. The other side had a complete TSR- D&D product list to date on the back. This is where my collecting took off. I'd been collecting really all my life and still had my original books plus about two 3' shelves of RPG's at that time. But when this thing came out it was like a revelation. Now you had a comprehensive look at all the products in front of you. I traveled with this thing from coast to coast several times on tour checking off as I went along. 96 was also the beginning of the internet boom and rec.games.frp.marketplace, where extensive wheeling and dealing went down (Including you Mike Dragonstrove if you're reading this  ). Those days where so much fun, the screen name I operated under was a friend's called Wolftales (it just started that way so it kinda stuck). I've included a few pics of my ugly mug to put a face to the madness.

First, can I say I'm juuuuuuust a bit jealous.

Second, my friend Mike and I spent weeks working on that trivia contest.  I really would've liked some of the answers explained, mainly the ones involving math.

couple questions:
1.  where is this collection located
2.  do you have a security system
3.  do you have a dog
4.  are you going away on vacation anytime soon?

just kidding, that quite an extensive collection.  i would have to almost say it's not a collection at all, but a library..

I've spoken about automating our game room. The boy's at Atari said they'd give me a hand and upgraded my old 2600 into a badass machine
